Members include 3,400 shooting-sports enthusiasts and 19 shooting clubs across Virginia, representing law-abiding firearms owners, hunters, shooters, collectors, and patrons or employees of gun shops, shooting ranges, and shooting clubs. In short, the membership consists of adults in Virginia who own firearms or actively participate in shooting sports, hunting, competitive shooting, or firearms collecting, as well as affiliated-club members who are engaged in and supportive of gun-rights activities. Virginia Shooting Sports Association (VSSA) represents law‑abiding shooters, hunters, sportsmen, firearms collectors, and other firearms‑enthusiasts in Virginia — uniting a constituency that participates in shooting sports, hunting, and firearms ownership.
